It pays to be extra careful these days, especially with new sanitation measures in place to ensure that everyone is safe and healthy as they #stayathome. When it comes to taking care of the kids, it is a good idea to enlist yaya’s help to have an added layer of protection for the family.
Here’s a simple checklist that can help empower yaya with simple reminders on how to take care of herself and the rest of the family while you are outside buying necessities or even busy working from home. You can print out this checklist and post it on your refrigerator door as a constant reminder that yaya can refer to throughout the day.

Dear Yaya,

Here’s a reminder for you too: as yaya is helping protect the family, you also have to help her take care of her health by providing her proper nutrition and sufficient rest. We hope this has helped empower you and your caregiver as we enter the new normal, where each person is an important asset in keeping families and whole communities safe and healthy.
